Poetry by Philip M. Williams

In Memoriam

Red leaves and gold fall.
White snow soon covers all.His
Soul flies up. Rejoice.

2003
This Haiku memorializes a graduate of Boston College  who for many years was a financier, a moral light, and a visionary leader of the College.

BC's  Colors are red and gold in a white field.

This good man died in the fall, amid falling leaves. He was interred beside his loving wife. His passing was a great loss to all who knew him. It relieved him from a painful illness.
